He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Hulda (Teigland); his siblings, Howard and Marolyn Halverson; his siblings-in-law, Ivar Anderson, Lonnie Webb, Mary Lou, Lynda, Erling Carlsen, Edward Nyhus, Delmar Gusdal and Joseph Nystuen; and also, Joseph and Selma Nystuen.
He is survived by: his wife Eunice; his children, Paul (Carolyn Anderson), John, Mary (Rod Moberg) and David (Marie); his grandchildren, Joseph (Kelsey), Martha, Nicholas (Mike Kohfeld), Benjamin, Katrina, Natasha, Brandon, Brian (Megan), Britta (Eric Ryan), Ana (Jack Dean) and Eric; his great grandchildren, Linnea, Olin, Wyatt, Haylee and Sven; his sister Eunice Anderson; and his siblings-in-law, William Halverson, Beverly Carlsen (Omar Nelson), Winifred Nyhus, Miriam Gusdal, Grace Watkins (Dennis) and Nancy Nystuen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Memorials preferred to St. Philip the Deacon Lutheran Church or to Luther Seminary, St. Paul.
