She was predeceased by: her parents, Hazel Sue Merrill and Willard Merrill Sr.; her siblings, Willard Merrill Jr., Janice Moore, Ronald Merrill, Kathleen Carr and Evelyn Merrill; and her daughters, Lisa Ann Dawson, Linda Ratliff and Maria Houston.

She is survived by: her sons, Paul H. Ratliff Jr. (Gloria) and Rev. Keith Ratliff (Deborah); and her siblings, Winna Davis, Judith Merrill and Mary Merrill. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
