He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Schwartz and Iona Schwartz (Johnson); his daughter LuAnn; his brothers, Donald (Ethel), LeRoy (Lorraine), Wally and Dale; his sister-in-law Duffy; and his nephew Richard.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine Gabler; his children, Connie, Daniel (Regina) and Wendy (Steve); his brother Bill; and his sister-in-law Polly. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
