He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert and Thelma (Wilson); his former wife Betty; his children, Kennon Kirkland and Rodney Kirkland; and his siblings, Marcia Stomberg and Stephen Stomberg.
He is survived by: his wife Renee Dean; his children, Raylene Sparks, John Kirkland (Judy) and Donna Nunnelly; and his siblings, Diane Pederson, Keith Stromberg (Sharon), Rose Johnson and Mark Stomberg. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
