He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Sherwood and Marie Stella Johnson (Schmitz); his siblings, Ardelle, Dale and Verlin; his granddaughter Stephanie; and his stepson Tim.
He is survived by: his former spouse Jeune Mickelson; his wife Roxann; his children, Lisa Harrer of Milaca, Chad Johnson (Shawn) of Milaca and Brad Johnson of Oak Park; his stepchildren, Stacy Sauer (Jerad) of Milaca, Jody Meixell (Nick) of Milaca and Greg Swanson of Thayne, Wyoming; his sisters-in-law, Pearl Johnson of Oak Park and Audrey Johnson of Milaca; his grandchildren, Ashley, Christopher, Kayla, Abby, Allie, Kaylee, Kayla-Jo, Hunter, Kyle, Jared and Scott; and his great grandchildren, Noah and Skylar. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
Due to COVID-19, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
