He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Schendel and Lillian Schendel (Kemis); and his siblings, Cliff, Gordon, Howard, Robert, Richard, Gwen Vaillencourt and Dorothy Schendel.
He is survived by: his significant other Loaune Foster; his sons, Mike (Marlell) of Stacy and Tom (Renee) of Maplewood; his grandchildren, Courtney, Cole, Josh and Sam; his great grandchildren, Scarlett and Axton; and his sisters, Hazel Vandenberg of Foley, Mona Ketzeback (Frank) of Oak Park and Marie Larsen (Bob) of Andover. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
