He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernadine Leitzen and William "Bill" Leitzen; his parents-in-law, Ralph and Alma Krepfle; his sister Carol McDaniel; his brother-in-law Ray Krepfle; his nephew Michael Leitzen; and his cousin Ken Leitzen.
He is survived by: his wife Kay (Krepfle); his daughters, Tenille and Tonya Leitzen-Ray (Tony Ray) of Brainerd, MN; his grandchildren, Leon Leitzen of Winthrop, MN, Lily Leitzen, Kayla and Michael Ray; his siblings, Alan Leitzen (Kathy) and Debra Kieffer (Ted); and his siblings-in-law, John McDaniel, Lorraine Krepfle, Keith Krepfle (Michelle Darcy), Ann Boyle (Terry), Michael Krepfle, Bob Krepfle (Stacy), Pam Burling (Tim) and Pat Reuter (Brad).
