He was predeceased by: his parents, James L. Hoffman and Margaret M. Hoffman (Papke); his wife Mary Bentz; his son Andy; his siblings, James G. (Neva Hoffman) and Darlene Jauernig; and his parents-in-law, Bill Schafer, Sonny, Twila Pentico, Elizabeth Addis, Luella Tietgen, Les and Donna Wicker.
He is survived by: his children, Robin Hoffman, Jody Walbridge (Randy), Christie Barnes (Brad), Jamie Hoffman and Thomas Hoffman; his grandchildren, Danielle Walbridge (Andrew Story), Samuel Walbridge (Amanda Sjoberg), Mary Paul, Levi Anderson, William, Margaret and Oliver Barnes; his siblings, Carol McBride (Mort) and Daniel Hoffman (Judy); his aunt Avis; his uncle Luther Wilhelmsen; and his parents-in-law, John Bentz, Gary Bentz (Barbara), Joyce Stanley (William), Robert Tietgen and Arnie Jauernig. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
A public celebration of life will be held at a later date when COVID 19 restrictions have been lifted.
