He is survived by: his wife Maurine; his children, Barbara Jacobson (Jeffrey) of Milaca, Paul Herbst (Sheryl) of Foreston, Daniel Herbst (Lorie) of Princeton, Karen Swenson (Albin) of Milaca, Mark Herbst (Carrie) of Foreston, Mary Stanley of St Louis Park, Lowell Herbst (Michele) of Foreston, Dale Herbst (Nancy) of Foley, Norman Herbst of Foreston, Nancy Frerich (Alan) of Foreston and Colleen Kasella (Steven) of Morrill; his siblings, Jimmy Herbst, Jeanette Rahm, Janice Spiczka (Bill), LeRoy Herbst (Cathy), David Herbst (Catherine "Kitty"), Ronnie Herbst (Marie) and Duane Herbst (Bette); and his brother-in-law Valentine "Mac" Udermann. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
