He was predeceased by: his parents, Berlin Mitchell and Vesta Mitchell (Porter); his wife Marlene Mitchell (Kruse); his son James Mitchell; his sister Lucille Peter; and his siblings-in-law, Louis Peter, Lyle Haney, Mary Lou Mitchell (Kitto) and Lila Mitchell (Carrington Young).
He is survived by: his children, David (Deb) of Tupelo, MS, Beverly Mitchell (Gary Vrieze) of Ogilvie, MN and Jeffrey Mitchell (Jenny) of Milaca, MN; and his siblings, Vesta Mae Haney of Gillette, WY, Warren Mitchell (Evelyn) of Chadron, NE and Marvin Mitchell of Reno, NV. He is also survived by grandchildren and fourteen cherished great-grandchildren.
