He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Wirkkala; his children, Curtis Duane, Jessica Lee, Stacy Swatek (Ryan) of Onalaska, WI and Curtis Benson of La Crosse, WI; his stepdaughter Jessica Pomey of Oakland, CA; his grandchildren, Emma and Swatek; and his siblings, Harvey Benson, Ilene Stinar, Gloria Lake (Darrell), Dennis Benson (Nancy) and Gary Benson (Ann). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
