He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Kunst and Ida Kunst (Santema); his wife Mary Jansen; his sons, Mike, Dennis and Richard; and his siblings, Margaret Bauer, Mary Kreger, Bill, Henry, Frank Bob and Bernard.
He is survived by: his children, Barb Ranta (Gordy), Kathy Hampey (George), Diane Garceau (Bill) and Doug Kunst (Denise); his daughter-in-law Laurie Kunst; and also Cheryl Bos. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
