He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Norman and Frances Margaret Opdahl (Sampson); his parents-in-law, John and Bernice Wagner; and his siblings-in-law, Curtis Thompson, LeRoy Wagner, Roger Wagner, Wayne Wagner and Corrine Opdahl.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Renae Wagner of Middle River; his children, Lance Opdahl (Denease) of Greenbush, MN, Derrick Opdahl of Middle River and Francesca; his grandchildren, Madisyn, Kaden Opdahl, Chesnie and Gwen Wojciechowski; his siblings, Duane Opdahl, Margaret Larson (Danny), Mary Thompson, Kathy Opdahl, Tom Opdahl (Kathy), Dave Opdahl (Nancy), Judy Opdahl (Larry Vettleson), Jim Opdahl (Linda) and Nancy Opdahl; and his siblings-in-law, Lois Barth, Val Nesteby (Larry), Sandy Olson, Patty Wagner and Bruce Wagner. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Lutheran Church (210 Park Ave, Middle River, MN 56737). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
