He was predeceased by: his parents, C. Vernon Higginbotham and Emily (Schummer); his siblings, Donna "Sis" Marty, Lavonne "Cookie" VanMill and Mark Higginbotham; his siblings-in-law, Wayne Netland, Jerome Halvorson and Sue Higginbotham; his niece Amanda Higginbotham; and his nephew Lee Walberg.
He is survived by: his children, Diana Higginbotham (Eisenhauer), S. Keith Higginbotham, Colleen Murdock (Randy), Susan Higginbotham (Johnson), Candace Boen (Corey), Marshall Tennermann (Jenn), Jolie Teie, Denise Anderson, Sony Smith, John and Melody.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Cease Family Funeral Home of Bagley (407 Getchell Ave NE, Bagley, MN 56621). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
