He was predeceased by: his brothers, Stan Cwikla and Phillip Cwikla; and his niece Terri Morrissey Sorenson. He is survived by: his wife MaryAnn Demorett; his sons, Brian Cwikla of Rochester, MN, Daniel Cwikla (Gwen) of Grand Forks, ND. and Duane Cwikla of Fargo, ND.; his grandchildren, Brittany Eucker (Ben), Allison Velerius (Sam), Evan Cwikla, Matthew Cwikla, Noah Cwikla, Zoe Cwikla and Izabella Cwikla; his great grandchild Eli Eucker; and his siblings, Anne Morrissey of Gatzke, MN, David Cwikla (Myrna) of Bemidji, MN, Judy Gordar of Walnut Grove, CA and Richard Cwikla (Sue) of West Fargo, ND.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 5:00 PM and on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church. A prayer was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
