He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Arthur Borlaug and Alvhild Borlaug (Jordhoy); his wife Verlyce Yvonne Swenson; and his brothers, Oliver, Paul and Donald.
He is survived by: his children, John Borlaug (Julie) of Monticello, MN, Solvejg Seamon (Carl) of Merrifield, MN. and Kurt Borlaug (Beth) of Columbus, MN; his grandchildren, Matthew Seamon (Kim), Bonnie Grinstad (David), Aaron Borlaug (Elizabeth), Erik Borlaug (Samantha), Amy Cox (Jordan), Ruth Eilts and Jennifer Eilts; his great grandchildren, Sofia, Caden, Adelynn, Owen, Elizabeth, Benjamin, Malachi, Isaiah, Timothy, Jonah, Asher, Abigail, Hannah and Elliot; and his sister Connie Cleveland (Herbert) of Rapid City, SD. He is also survived by numerous nieces and Nephews.
