It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Martha Simmonds of Merrifield, Minnesota, who passed away on June 21, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Schroedel and Lillian Schroedel; and her siblings, Henrietta Lobner, Dorothy Hladilek, Dolores Linzmeier, Bernice Stellmach, RoseAnn Kranski and Robert Schroedel.
She is survived by: her husband Jack Simmonds; her children, Debra Simmonds, Laurie Houg (Peter), Michael Simmonds, Victoria Sather (Chuck), Virginia Heath (Daniel), Randell Simmonds, Jacqueline Hollingsworth (Allen), Brenda Simmonds, John Simmonds (Misty) and Thomas Simmonds (Stephanie); and her siblings, Yvonne Leech, Henry Schroedel (Eleanor) and John Schroedel (Diane).
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
