It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delbert Schwegel (Merrifield, Minnesota), born in Saint Joseph, Minnesota, who passed away on May 1, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Schwegel and Ida Schwegel (Gilitzer); his wife Claudette Schwegel (Brown); his son John Schwegel; and his siblings, Andrew Schwegel, Edward Schwegel, Wilfred "Fritz" Schwegel, Rosie Hooe, Eleanore "Polly" Schulte, Catherine Litz, Ronald "Bingo" Schwegel and Raymond "Ray" Schwegel.
He is survived by: his former wife Claudette Emily Brown; his children, Peggy Collier (Terry Campbell), Curt Schwegel (Lynn), Tammy Peck (David), Larry Schwegel (Michelle), Chad Schwegel (Tonya), Jamie Ruikka (Joey) and Amanda Keppers (Kodi); his sisters, Ida Mae Johnson and Alvina "Winnie" Pfannenstein; and his former wife Mary Lee Schwegel (Schafer). He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
