He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Erlandson and Hilda Erlandson (Skanson); and his brother Marvin Erlandson. He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Lesa Hanna (David), Andrew, Sarah, Mari, Rachel of Hawley, MN and Laurie Fredrickson (Bruce Herrick); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Joshua and Lindsay of Elk River, MN; his nephew Mark Erlandson (Cayla); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Norah and Graham of Maple Grove, MN; and also Anne Pederson.
In failing health for the last two years, Gene died peacefully of the effects of Covid and congestive heart failure at Riverview Health in Crookston the evening of October 12.
