She was predeceased by: her father Joel Melvin; her husband Marvin Foss; her children, Duane Foss and Elaine Ebnet; and her brothers, Marvin (Alice), Palmer (LaVona), James (Gladys), Arvid (Bernice) and Stewart (Lottie).
She is survived by: her daughter Judy Straughn of Aitkin; her daughter-in-law Nola Foss of Welton, AZ; her grandchildren, Stephanie Rutt Plymouth (James Packard), Shelly Brown (Mac), Jennifer Rikala (Jeff) and James Hunter Brainerd (Autumn); and her sisters, Hazel Bjorge (Ardell) and Adeline Sletten (Willard). She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren.
