He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Salmen and Ione Salmen; and his brother-in-law Timothy McGough. He is survived by: his wife Christine; his sons, Max and Henry "Hank"; his granddaughters, Ione and Liliana; and his siblings, Jay (Angie), Steve (Katie), Rick (Julie), Mary Ann Anderson (Tony), Bill, Jane Salmen McGough and Michael (Dina). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Church of the Assumption, Cretin Derham Hall, or Our Lady of Peace Hospice.
