He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Venuta and Marie Venuta; and his siblings, Joseph Jr., Dorothy Perkins, Marie Mosberger and Joan Venuta.

He is survived by: his wife Dorine; his daughters, Melissa Imse (Mike) and Julie Smith (Nick); his grandchildren, Nathan, Ryan, Braden, Maddie, Sam and Luke; his sister Patricia Soutor; and his sister-in-law Jane Venuta. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
