He was predeceased by: his wife Ann; his great grandchild AJ Mahowald; and his sister Pat Richardson. He is survived by: his children, MaryPat Mahowald (Brad Heil), Rick (Cheryl), Rob (Julie), Peggy Drobinski (Steve) and Mike (Marnie); his grandchildren, Andy Mahowald (Suzanne), Michael, Sean (Katie Logendyke), Meghan Carlberg (Alex), Ryan Murnane (Kim Moua), Kelsey Robinson (Joe), Jack Rogowski (Morgan Newpower), Annie and Maggie Murnane; his great grandchild John Mahowald; his sister Mary Mauer (Hank); and his brother-in-law Tom Richardson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
