She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Gaertner and Mary Gaertner; her husband James; her sons, Patrick and Thomas; her granddaughter Michelle; her brother Dr. Frank; and her brother-in-law John Pavlick.

She is survived by: her siblings, Dr. John Gaertner (Patricia) and Judith Pavlick; her children, John (Amy), Jim, Jane, Bill (Susan), Frank (Kathy), Katie and Paul (Michele); and her great grandchild Miley. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
