He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Bettenburg and Wini Bettenburg; and his in-laws, Bob Francomb, Kristi Bettenburg, Paul and Michael Grant.
He is survived by: his wife Margie; his children, Phil (Jodie), Matt (Kathleen Vasquez), Nick and Claire; his grandchildren, Eloise Bettenburg and Eli Vasquez Shaughnessy; and his siblings, Ann (Tom Kukielka), Jody (Marty Duda), Tom (Sue), Mary Hallman (Scott), Phil, Patrick, Dan (Ellen) and Mike (Kerry). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, dear family and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Church of St. Joseph (1154 Seminole Ave, St Paul, MN 55118).
