She was predeceased by: her husband Norman Newman; her parents, Mollie Stameshkin and Bernard Stameshkin; and her sister Reva Bronstien. She is survived by: her children, Melissa Newman and Barry Newman (Amy); her grandchildren, Allisa and Paige; and her niece Barb Stevenson.
