He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo and Catherine; his daughter Katherine; and his brother Roland. He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Deborah Rammer (Paul), Denise Rose, Mary Newman (Brian), Robert (Nancy), Jodie Penfield (John), Thomas Whaley (Kristy) and Suzy Whaley (Greg); and his sisters, Barbara Griep and Ginny Greenen (Charles). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
