Carla Jean left this world on March 4, 2025 at the age of 68, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. Though Carla Jean may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Carla Jean touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald E. Breunig and Ruth M. Regenhardt. She is survived by: her wife Gail I. Lewellan; her pet Luna of Mendota Heights, Minnesota; her siblings, Diane Freed (David) of Newburyport, Massachusetts and Doug Breunig (Martha) of Auburn, Maine; her nephew Andrew Freed; her siblings-in-law, Kathe Kasten (Ames Guyton) of Neptune Beach, Florida and Paul Lewellan (Pamela Druger) of Davenport, Iowa; and also Tatum Renn.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the White Bear Lake Unitarian Universalist Church (328 Maple St, St Paul, MN 55115).
