He was predeceased by: his father Milton Schmidt; and also Sherilyn Martinek. He is survived by: his mother Ione Schmidt (Tobeck) of Wheaton; his siblings, Lee Schmidt (Janette) of Wheaton and Lynae Berger (Gene) of Wheaton; his close friends, Bob, Kerry White of Park Rapids, MN and Linda West of Menahga; his nephew Michael Martinek (Erin) of Wheaton; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Gunner, Karter and Oaklee; his nephew Paul Martinek of Alexandria; his great-nephew Jackson; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Taylin and Carver; his niece Tara Stotesbery (James) of Barry, MN; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Parker, Dru, Carsyn and Gibson; his nieces and nephews, Tera Berger of Maple Grove and Tony Berger (Gina) of Wheaton; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kyla, Hadley, Kinley, Paedyn and Levi Berger (Christina) of Harrisburg, SD; and also, Robbie Schmidt (Jay) of Wheaton, Alex, Lindsey, Miles and Lana. He is also survived by Parents, siblings, nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
