It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ida Aileena Maninga of Menahga, Minnesota, who passed away on January 23, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Onni Niemela and Sally Niemela (Kuismi); and her siblings, Carol Niemela and Billy Niemela. She is survived by: her husband Emil Maninga; her children, Boyd Maninga (Diane) of St Cloud, MN, Peter Maninga of Menahga, MN and Jane Urvig (Kevin) of Menahga, MN; her siblings, Julia Wehmas of Menahga, MN and Leslie Niemela of Menahga, MN; and her grandchildren, Virginia, Daniel, Peter Jr., Lisa, Trevor, Alex, Zachary and Dylan. She is also survived by four great grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Spruce Grove Apostolic Lutheran Church (15275 Co Hwy 45, Menahga, MN 56464). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
