He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Hepola and Elma Hepola (Stahl); and his siblings, Amy, Maryanne, Inga, Edna, Aili, Lila and Henry "Bill".
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Metteer; his son Michael; his grandson Henry "Smiley"; his daughter Wendi Montonye (Matthew); his grandchildren, Zoey and Henry Montonye; and his siblings, Marvin (Marilyn) of Washington, Lempi Molenda of Washington, Irene Nordby of Dilworth and Betty Dwyer (Jack) of Montana. He is also survived by several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews, and a host of wonderful friends.
