It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Edward Wilhelm Haataja of Menahga, Minnesota, who passed away on October 15, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Haataja and Maria Haataja (Alajoki); his siblings, Hildegard, Leonard, Guido, Edwin, Paul, Hanna, Mangna, Sophia, Oscar, Chester, Daniel, Maria, Esaja and Allen; his children, Daryl, Donald (Penny), Douglas (Lori) and Dale (Mindy); his wife Dorothy Mae Johnston; his grandchildren, Katie, Joshua, Jessica, Charli, Caden, Skyler and Nick; and his great grandchildren, Azriella and Anakka. He was also cherished by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
