We are sad to announce that on June 28, 2019 we had to say goodbye to Vernon Frieler (Melrose, Minnesota), born in Grenora, North Dakota. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Frieler and Mary Frieler (Wenker); his children, Kevin and Bonnie Jean; and his brothers, Norbert, Edward, Lawrence, Lloyd, Francis and Alvin Frieler.

He is survived by: his wife Aggie Frieler of Melrose; his children, Gerald Frieler (Doris) of Melrose, Kenneth Frieler (Judy) of Grey Eagle, Mark Frieler (Diane) of Sauk Rapids, Robert Frieler (Charlotte Owens) of Seattle, WA and Sandra Welz (Dan) of Sartell; and his sisters-in-law, Rita Frieler and Hildegard Frieler. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
