She is survived by: her children, James Schmiesing (Linda) of New Munich, Joan Ellering (Paul) of Chaska, Dennis "Breeze" Schmiesing of Meire Grove, Marilyn Ruhr (Bill) of St. Joseph, Philip Schmiesing (Deb) of St. Martin, Edward Schmiesing (Judy) of Melrose, John Schmiesing (Pam) of Avon, Beverly Schmitz (Isidore) of St. Francis, Gerard Schmiesing (Cindy) of New Munich, Patty Jangor of Lindstrom, Donna Thompson (Pat) of Red Wing, Jean Hellermann (Gary) of Melrose, Nancy Roden (Joe) of Big Lake and Brian Schmiesing (Amy) of Greenwald; her siblings, Joseph Primus (Catherine) of Melrose and Betty Moscho of St. Martin; and her sister-in-law Claire Primus of Long Prairie. She is also survived by 36 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
