Otto Petersen Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Otto Petersen of Melrose, Minnesota, who passed away on May 5, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Petersen and Clara Petersen; his brother George; his sister-in-law Jean; his brother James Petersen; and his brothers-in-law, Wally Soltis and Roger Glende.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Petersen; his children, Bruce (Karen), Paul (Brenda), John (Mary) and Julie Baum (Michael); his grandchildren, Tanya, Christopher, Emily, Dana, Ashley, Kayla, Amanda, Karl and Hannah; and his sisters, Leona Soltis, Selma Glende and Myrna Schrupp (Kenneth). He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19, a private family Christian Burial will be held at Elmdale Cemetery with Rev. Kenneth Thielman officiating.
