He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Wehlage and Mary Wehlage (Ostendorf); his siblings, Werner, Elmer, Ray (Joan), Karen and Bernice Welters (Robert); and his grandson Issac Funk.
He is survived by: his wife Tillie; his children, Sandra Dreshar (Thomas), Mike Wehlage (Julie), Jim Wehlage (Jody) and Janice Funk (Chad); his grandchildren, Katelyn, Matthew, Brandon, Emily (Ryan), Jadyn, Max, Sam, Charlie, Luke, Cole, Paige and Morgan; his siblings, Pat Rausch (Stan) and Vern Wehlage (Jane); and his sister-in-law Joyce Wehlage.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church (20 MN-4, Melrose, MN 56352).
