Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Mary Ann Schulzetenberg of Melrose, Minnesota, born in Greenwald, Minnesota, who passed away at the age of 90, on October 27, 2020. She was predeceased by: her parents, Conrad Nietfeld and Veronica Nietfeld (Blenker); her husband Melvin Schulzetenberg; her granddaughter Sarah Schulzetenberg Harkins; her great grandchild Cecelia Harkins; her sisters, Rose Meyer and Alice Engelmeyer; her siblings-in-law, Leona Frieler, Delphine Nietfeld, Celeste Schulzetenberg, Roman Meyer, Peter Engelmeyer, John Frieler and Alphonse Schulzetenberg; and her parents-in-law, Christine and Anton Schulzetenberge.
She is survived by: her children, Spring Hill, Mae Tinguely (Stephen) of Fargo, John Schulzetenberg (Sharon) of Spring Hill, Deacon James Schulzetenberg (Bonnie) of Greenwald, Ann Leukam (Gerald) of Maple Grove, Joe Schulzetenberg (Sue) of Rogers, Mark Schulzetenberge (Deb) of Avon and Mike Schulzetenberge (Cyndi) of Sauk Centre; and her brother Bernard Nietfeld of Greenwald. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the Pine Haven staff for their compassionate care and also the staff on the COVID unit at St. Benedict's Center during the last few weeks.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Catholic Charities of St. Cloud or St. Mary's Church in Melrose.
