It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marion Schumacher of Melrose, Minnesota, born in Sauk Centre, Minnesota, who passed away on November 6, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Marion has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis "Red" Cokely and Luella Cokely (Fenton); her husband Roger Schumacher of Paul's Catholic Church; her son Jeffery Schumacher; and her siblings, David, Dennis Cokely, Diane Baker and Karen Fisher.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kim Polingo (Brian) of Farmington and Joanie Sobotka (Mark) of Sauk Centre; and her sisters, Pat Crider (Terry) of Sauk Centre and Shelly DePue (Tim) of Avoca, Arkansas.. She is also survived by six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.
A reception was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Sauk Centre (620 Beltline Rd, Sauk Centre, MN 56378).
