With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lydia Zenzen (Melrose, Minnesota), who passed away on October 27, 2021 at the age of 103. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lydia Zenzen to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Clarence Zenzen; her children, Anna Mae Uphus, Albin Zenzen and Arthur Zenzen; her children-in-law, David Schwanke, JoAnn Zenzen and Mary Zenzen; and her siblings, Henry, Ervin, Alphonse Schmiesing, Ann Schmiesing, Agnes Meyer, Alvina Zenzen, Clara Clobes, Alma Meyer and Bernadine "Bernie" Schmiesing.
She is survived by: her daughter Aurelia Schwanke of St. Cloud; her son-in-law Steve Uphus of Hastings; and her grandchildren, Brian, Bruce, Bradley, Barry Uphus, Daryl Zenzen, Sara Decker, Bethany Krattenmaker, Debbie Remaly, Chris Zenzen, Tina Aagard, Joe Zenzen and Patty Turner. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
