She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Vogel and Catherine Vogel (Poepping); her husband Alcuin "Al" Gangl; and her siblings, Loretta, Roman, Leander, Warner, Ervin, Elmer, Joe, Gene and Viola.
She is survived by: her children, David Skaja (Sandy) of Upsala, Joleen Schindeldecker (Mark) of St. Paul Park, Ron Gangl (Sandi) of Becker, Shari Gangl (Russ Carlson) of St. Paul and Amy Proell (Chad) of Mounds View; her grandchildren, John, Shannon, Mary Beth, Rebecca, Dan, Russell and Kayla; her great grandchildren, Anthony, Deseree, Aaron, David Jr., Brooke, Emma, Meta and Lilian; and her siblings, Tom Vogel (Marlene) of Sartell and Mary Ann Arnzen of Melrose.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the St. Mary's School Education Fund.
