He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kemper and Anna Kemper; and his siblings, Mary "Mae" Haskamp and John Kemper. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Kemper of Melrose; his children, Charles Rien (Kathy) of Melrose and Peggy Keehr (Paul) of New York; and his brother-in-law Julian Haskamp. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter; five nieces and nephews, four great nieces and nephews, and three great-great nieces and nephews.
