She was predeceased by: her husband Stanley Karels; and her siblings, Edward Monnens (Patsy), Mary Monnens, Dorothy Oddan (Orrin), Arthur Monnens (Hilda), Francis Monnens, Stella Bombeck (Maurice), Lauretta Karels (Emmanuel), Robert Monnens (Dorothy), Earl Monnens (Evelyn) and Raymond Monnens.
She is survived by: her former husbands, Theodore C. Unzen and Stan Karels; and her children, Frances Allen of Keene, Ronald Unzen (Carol) of Madison and Rebecca Ferkinhoff (John) of St. Cloud. She is also survived by six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
