He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Oevermann and Alvina Oevermann (Thieschaefer); his wife Kathy Oevermann; his grandchildren, Gabriel and Rose Justin; his in-laws, Richard Oevermann (Carol), Edna Middendorf (Ralph), Dorothy Schmitz (Leonard) and Albert Oevermann; and his siblings-in-law, Edward Mueller and Ilene Oevermann.
He is survived by: his children, Mike Oevermann (Edna) of St. Martin, Anne Schroepfer (Alan) of St. Martin, Maria Hughes (Dusten) of Melrose, Judy Justin (Andrew) of St. Francis and Susanne Blommer (Ryan) of Sartell; and his siblings, Kitty Mueller of Melrose and Donald Oevermann of Melrose. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
