He was predeceased by: his great grandchild Cardi Sue Cruz; and his siblings, Gene, Bob Petermeier, Bernie Barrett and Adeline Christen.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Petermeier of Melrose; his children, Mark Petermeier, Sandy Meyer (Ron), Sue Moening (Randy) of Melrose and Jeff Petermeier (Sue) of Melrose; and his siblings, Edna Brannan of St. Cloud and John "Jack" Petermeier of Melrose. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
