It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Braun of Melrose, Minnesota, born in Sauk Centre, Minnesota, who passed away on February 6, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmund Stalboerger and Selma Stalboerger (Eibensteiner); her siblings, David Stalboerger, Pat Seitz and Joseph Stalboerger; her grandson Logan Braun; and her son-in-law Stephen Campagnola.
She is survived by: her husband Bob Braun of Melrose; her children, Jim Braun (Sheryl) of Greenwald, Joe Braun (Karen) of Shoreview, Lori Campagnola of Minneapolis, Barb Digerness (David) of Plymouth, Emily Langel (Joe) of Brooklyn Park, Jason Braun (Kristie) of Melrose and Brenda Enslin (Robb) of Duluth; her siblings, Stanley Stalboerger, Marilyn Schoenberg, Sharon Hemiadan, Ramona Stalboerger, Barb Barten and Roxane Kampsen; and her mother-in-law Val Braun. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
