He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold H. Nietfeld and Catherine Nietfeld (Folmer). He is survived by: his brother Arnold C. Nietfeld (Alma) of Greenwald; and his nieces and nephews, Jane Miller (Terry) of Carver, Dale Nietfeld (Sarah) of Lakeville, Lisa Nietfeld of Plano, Lynn Cooper (Kevin) of Oak Park and Karl Nietfeld (Elizabeth Deutscher) of Melrose. He is also survived by seven grandnieces and one grandnephew.
In an effort to best support current guidelines established during this global pandemic, the family has arranged for a private service to occur at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Greenwald.
