He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Langer and Hiltrude Langer (Ophoven); his son Kurt Langer; his siblings, Lorraine Stelton, Merlin Langer and John Langer; and his sisters-in-law, Rose Langer, Glenna Pusc and Joy Niemi.
He is survived by: his wife Diane of Melrose; his daughter Kris Dickhaus (Bob) of Melrose; his daughter-in-law Denise Langer of Cold Spring; his grandchildren, Wesley Dickhaus of Owatonna, Jacob Dickhaus of St. Cloud, Eddie Dickhaus of Melrose, Emma, Adam and Drew Langer of Cold Spring; his brother Don Langer of St. Cloud; and his siblings-in-law, Bob Stelton of Kimball, Merlin Stelton of Watkins and Deanna Langer of Kimball.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
