Erma Kettler Obituary

The memory of Erma Kettler of Melrose, Minnesota, who passed away on November 17, 2024 at the age of 94, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ignatius Petermeier and Caroline Petermeier (Uhlenkamp); her husband Elmer Kettler of Paul's Catholic Church; her son Ron Kettler; her siblings, Al Petermeier (Evelyn), Evelyn Jansen (Henry), Tony Petermeier (Ella) and Florentine Schmiesing (Leonard); and her siblings-in-law, George Kettler (Jenny), Roman Kettler (Pat), Leander Kettler (Julianna), Herb Kettler (Rose), Francis Kettler, Richard Kettler (Evelyn), Rosemary Swanson (Richard), Lou Kettler and Connie Kettler.

She is survived by: her daughters, Diane O'Connor (Tom) of Cumberland and Karen Kettler-Tepley (Mark) of St. Louis Park; her daughters-in-law, Kathy Kettler of Melrose, Pam Rolfes (Dan) of St. Joseph and Barb Kettler of St. Joseph; her grandchildren, Amy (Rob), Betsy (Jim), Megan, Michael (Rachel), Mara (Mike), Lola (Mike), Ben, Uriah, Jesse (Bryce) and Abby (Travis); her brothers, Roman Petermeier (Tillie) and Eddie Petermeier (Dorothy); and her siblings-in-law, Pudge Kettler, Marlene Kettler and Don Kettler. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (755 E Kraft Dr, Melrose, MN 56352). A Mass will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Mary's Catholic Church in Melrose.
