He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Bussmann and Elizabeth Bussmann (Wenker); his son Jeffrey Bussmann; his parents-in-law, Herbert and Regina Douvier; his sisters, Anna Mae Morrison (Jim), Cecilia Hansen (Donovan), Bernice Theiler (Clarence), Rita Poepping (Jerome) and Lorraine Kraker (Jack); and his brother-in-law Larry Ostendorf.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Bussmann of Melrose; his children, Mark Bussmann of Melrose, Sandy Stangler (Randy) of Rogers, Scott Bussmann (Andrea) of Melrose, Brian Bussmann (Kathy) of Grey Eagle and Todd Bussmann (Stephanie) of Grey Eagle; his grandchildren, Amanda Biddle (Kyle), Drew Stangler (Maria), Tyler Bussmann Samuel Bussmann (Bri Ufford), Ella Bussmann (Jimmy Dempsey), Payten Bussmann, Michael Bussmann and Ashley Bussmann; his great grandchildren, Brayden, Harper Biddle, Emmitt, Trey and Callie Stangler; his siblings, Doris Peterson of Sauk Centre, Bernard Bussmann (Tillie) of Melrose and Betty Lou Goebel (Vic) of Freeport; and his sisters-in-law, Shirley Ostendorf of Osseo and Linda Johnson (Jim) of Lindstrom.
