He was predeceased by: his parents, Roman Ritter and Edith Ritter (Maus); his nephew Timothy Ritter; and his granddaughter Peyton Ritter. He is survived by: his former wife Judith Sand; his wife Judy Ritter of Melrose; his grandchildren, Stephanie Mergen (Chad), Alisha Ritter, Tyler, Derek Ritter, Kaydence Bertram, Bradley, Brett and Bria Hellermann; and his siblings, LuVerne Ritter (Jean) of Melrose, Joann Ritter of Melrose and Edna Goebel (Marvin) of Albany.
